Pilates Foldable Low Mat

The mat is where it all begins. Joseph Pilates developed his entire method — what he called Contrology — from the ground up, and the mat series remains the foundation upon which every other apparatus builds. A serious mat deserves to be treated as such.

Our Foldable Low Mat is handmade in England with the same care and intention we bring to every piece of apparatus that leaves our workshop. Firm enough to support precise, controlled movement without the instability of an overly cushioned surface, it provides the honest feedback the classical method demands. Too soft, and the body loses its reference point. Too hard, and the work becomes about endurance rather than movement. This mat finds the balance.

The low folding design makes it practical without compromise — folding neatly for storage or travel, while opening flat with no ridge to interrupt the work. A pair of moon boxes and removable dowel handles are included as shown.

Large and upholstered items are custom made to order in the order they are received and ship in under 3 months.  Please note for upholstered items that due to screen variables, colour deviation is possible.  We are happy to provide swatches.
